The Proton Therapy Center in Prague offers selected diagnostic examinations – magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography in combination with computed tomography (PET/CT). We offer examinations not only to our cancer patients, but also to those, who have a referral from their physician.

The Radiodiagnostics Department performs the following examinations:

MRI of the head (for example brain including MRI angiography, brain spectroscopy),
MRI of the limbs, joints, spine (cervical, thoracic or lumbar),
MRI of soft tissues,
MRI imaging of the neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis,
MRI angiography,
MRI spectroscopy,
MRI cholangiopancreaticography (MRCP),
MRI of the breast.

The Department of Nuclear Medicine performs the following examinations:

PET/CT of the trunk using the radiopharmaceutical FDG (fluorodeoxyglucose),
PET/CT of the trunk using the radiopharmaceutical FCh (fluorocholine),
PET/CT of the trunk using the radiopharmaceutical FCV (fluciclovine/Axumin),
PET/CT of the brain using the radiopharmaceutical FMISO (fluoromisonidazole)
PET/CT of the breast using the radiopharmaceutical FES (fluoroestradiol),
PET/CT for radiotherapy planning.
