Consideration of the indication by the treating specialist/multidisciplinary team.
Contacting PTC – sending identification, anamnesis + image documentation via ePACS (pictures can be requested by PTC upon agreement).
The patient’s finding will be evaluated by a PTC radiation oncologist within 3 days and the referring physician will receive a response within 48 hours.
If proton radiotherapy is suitable, PTC contacts the patient and offers them a consultation date within 5 working days.
Provision of all administrative documents performed by PTC.
Contacting the patient and the referring physician to inform them that the patient’s treatment has been approved and announcing the date of entry into treatment.
Continuous transmission of patient results to the referring physician (sending the final report, reports from the first and second follow-up after treatment).
